Ever since 2004 he has been leading workshops with young people and kids in the communities of Carhuaz: Vicos, la Merced and Hualcan, to strengthen the wisdom that had been forgotten and recover it through the creation of traditional instruments of the region.

We take the wisdom of our ancestors and create the chiskas by young country people hands.
The chiska is a wind instrument that was played before and even still today in some places of the Andes of Ancash.
After they learn how to make their own chiskas a ceremony takes place where the instruments are blessed, this way bringing them to life. The older and wiser inhabitants of the region are invited to play the chiska and tell stories related to the instrument.

To introduce the instruments of the pre columbine cultures to the young ones. To remember what their grandparents told them about music and teach them how to create their own musical instruments and learn to play them.
